Cancellation & Refund Policy

Council for Women’s Empowerment & Development (CWED)

At the Council for Women’s Empowerment & Development (CWED), we value every contribution and transaction made in support of our mission. This Cancellation & Refund Policy is created in compliance with Razorpay guidelines and applies to all payments made through our website or authorized platforms.


1. Donations and Payments

All payments made to CWED, including donations, membership fees, service charges, registrations, or participation fees, are generally non-refundable once successfully processed.


2. Cancellation Conditions

A cancellation request may be considered only under the following situations:

  • The payment was made due to a technical error, resulting in duplicate transactions.

  • The user was incorrectly charged due to a system or server malfunction.

  • The user contacted CWED immediately after an unintentional transaction.

CWED reserves the right to approve or reject a cancellation request based on the circumstances and proof provided.


3. Refund Conditions

A refund will be processed only if:

  • The cancellation is approved by CWED after verification.

  • Valid proof of incorrect or duplicate payment is provided.

  • The refund request is raised within 48 hours of the transaction.

No refunds will be issued for:

  • Successful and verified payments made intentionally by the user.

  • Donations or support payments voluntarily made for social welfare causes.

  • Fees for completed services or issued certificates.


4. Refund Processing Time

If approved:

  • Refunds will be processed through the original payment method.

  • Refund timelines may vary based on banking and payment gateway policies, generally 5–10 working days.

CWED is not responsible for delays caused by banks, Razorpay, or other financial intermediaries.


5. How to Request a Refund

Users must contact CWED with:

  • Full name

  • Mobile number

  • Transaction ID

  • Date of payment

  • Reason for cancellation/refund

Requests submitted without required details may be delayed or rejected.


6. No Cash Refunds

All refunds (if approved) will be made digitally. Cash refunds will not be issued under any circumstances.


7. Changes to the Policy

CWED reserves the right to modify, update, or revise this policy at any time without prior notice. The updated version will be published on the website.
